Rhine Waal University of Applied Sciences (HSRW) is a small college with around 6,000 students on the Dutch border. Since its founding, it has established itself as one of the most international campuses in Germany, with the majority of its degree programs offered in English.
HSRW has four academic department offering bachelor's and master's degrees. 27 degrees are taught completely in English in subjects ranging from Industrial Engineering to Sustainable Agriculture to International Relations.
Students who study at HSRW have access to the rest of the state of North Rhine Westphalia through the NRW-Ticket, which allows holders to travel free on all local and regional transportation in the state. The university also offers sports and free language courses to all enrolled students. Nearby Weeze airport offers great connections throughout Europe on low-cost carrier Ryanair, one of the many reasons why this far flung locale is a great pick.
